The Technical Pre-Sales Manager, Wind Turbine Design Software will focus on DNV's client-facing technical engagement with a focus on our Bladed software.
This role will work in collaboration with our commercial sales team throughout the sales cycle, supporting and reinforcing an established regionally based sales team.
A background in Wind Turbine design or simulation is a prerequisite for this position, however, an appreciation of the commercial aspects of the sales process is also vital.

What you will do: Embedded within the sales team, working closely with the Regional Sales Managers, leading the technical aspects of client discussions with a focus on our Bladed product.Coordinate and collaborate with colleagues in the Support Team, Product Line, and Product Centre where necessary.Lead product presentations, software demonstrations, and workshops with clients.Lead client discussions to define the scope of products to be offered and contribute to the development of proposal documents.Contribute to the development of the technical aspects of the sales strategies.Provide technical voice of the customer feedback and insights to the Product Managers and Product Marketing teams.Support the customer in successful product implementation and value creation.Hold scheduled technical check-ins with clients to ensure customer value and identify potential up sales opportunities.Create and present product papers/sit on technical panels at conferences.Increase the exposure and market knowledge of DNV Digital Solutions products from the Renewable and Ocean Structures product portfolio.Develop long-standing, resilient client relationships.Be an integral part of the wider EMEA Region commercial team.Be the go-to person for Regional Sales Managers for technical questions.What you will bring to the role: Minimum - Bachelor's Degree in an associated Engineering discipline with strong technical knowledge and skills in wind turbine design or simulation.An outgoing personality, comfortable with engaging and leading client discussions.Hands-on experience with the DNV Bladed software tools or a competitor's similar tools.A track record in a similar pre-sales position with quantifiable achievements.Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.A customer-oriented and collaborative mindset.A willingness to travel to meet clients and attend events.Proactively build and maintain strong relationships.Strong written and verbal English communication skills as a minimum.Flexibility and proactive approach with the ability to prioritize tasks.What is Preferred: Have worked in a multi-cultural/multinational fast-paced environment.Experience of Salesforce or other CRM application.Driving license.DNV is an Equal Opportunity Employer and gives consideration for employment to qualified applicants without regard to gender, religion, race, national or ethnic origin, cultural background, social group, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, age or political opinion.
