Key Responsibilities: To provide a high level of technical support to customers and partners Be available to assist all customers / clients on site when required To define and provide a Technical Training Program for customers and partners Create Technical product presentations To work closely with the Pre-Sales Manager and the BDM team of Spain & Portugal To support the European sales organisations on product demonstrations and evaluations at customers premises Proof read all CCTV, Analogue, IP Audio Manuals and Data sheets To liaise with both Sales & Technical departments to ensure product knowledge is fully up to date and awareness of all product deletions / end dates / new product dates / to ensure up to date solutions are given to client at all times Provide Technical and Sales feedback to HQ UK Product and Technical departments To work closely with the Pre Sales Manager, to keep/update Demo/Training Area in Madrid Office Identification of new business expansion opportunities with customers and partners To attend trade shows and exhibitions Provide detailed, accurate and timely reporting on all technical activities Requirements: Proven experience in a technical support role, dealing with cameras, recorders & software, ideally within the CCTV / Surveillance industry Full working knowledge of all video surveillance products (Including both Analogue and IP) Knowledge of third party products, protocols and associated technologies Proven knowledge / experience in IT / Network Ability to converse with customers at all levels, both verbally and electronically Ability to manage and plan their workload effectively Ability to work under pressure and multi-task Flexible and helpful attitude Strong Presentation skills Ability to work both on own initiative and as a team player Ability to demonstrate excellent 'customer service' approach Strong work ethic Technical Degree Level Education would be desirable, as would industry related qualifications PC Literate - Intermediate & Advanced 'Microsoft Office' skills to include Excel Clean Driving License English Language essential Location: The jobholder is required to be located in Madrid, at Hanwha Vision Europe, Avenida de la Transición Española, 24 – 28108 – Alcobendas – Madrid – Spain.
The role may include extensive travel throughout the region (Spain & Portugal) and travel outside of the region may be required from time to time.
