Technical Leadership: Lead the technical team in implementing and executing construction plans, ensuring compliance with design specifications, building codes, and industry standards.
Provide guidance to project stakeholders, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
Develop and refine the technical strategies.
Contribute to the overall project planning, budgeting, and scheduling, with a focus on technical requirements and feasibility.
Ensure project plans, specifications, and drawings comply with international standards and local regulations.
Review and approve technical documentation, drawings, and specifications, providing expertise to resolve complex technical challenges.
Collaborate with the design team to optimize steel structures for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Identify potential technical risks and develop contingency plans to address challenges that may impact the project timeline or budget.
Quality Assurance.
Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all construction work meets the highest standards of quality.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify any deviations from the project specifications and take corrective actions as necessary.
Budget and Schedule Management: Work closely with the project management team to develop and monitor project budgets and schedules.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and/or acceleration opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Stakeholder management: Liaise with clients and consultants to address technical concerns and ensure alignment with project objectives.
Communication: Foster effective communication among project teams, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical, architectural, and construction teams.
Prepare and present technical reports, progress updates, and presentations as required.
Qualifications Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
Proven experience as a Technical Manager on large-scale construction projects, particularly in stadium construction.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Sound understanding of project management principles and practices.
Comprehensive understanding and knowledge of complex contractual requirements.
Extensive experience in client-facing roles, able to effectively engage and manage client interactions.
Adherence to local and international construction regulations and environmental standards.
Clear communication and ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent English language skills.
Additional languages, especially Arabic can be a plus.
Open to work across all countries of the Middle East.
