We are looking for a global technical manager to join Borregaard's Feed Additive team.
The global technical manager is responsible for technical support for customers and commercial colleagues within Borregaard's animal feed application. The position will require the ability to both work independently and function as a member of a global cross-functional team. Customer-oriented problem solving and analytical skills, combined with a desire to succeed are essential for this role.
The main responsibilities: Technical support for customers, commercial, R&D and manufacturing within relevant animal feed applications.Initiate and manage innovation projects.Inhouse competence building and training.Create and protect IP related to designated applications.Provide technical information to support sales and marketing (proof content etc.)Represent Borregaard at different external bodies (the European Commission, Industry Associations, etc.).Demonstrate and optimise performance using our products and technologies at customers' facilities.Coordinate requests for laboratory work and internal pilot plants.Qualifications: Master's degree (or PhD) in animal nutrition, veterinary, chemistry or engineering.Minimum 5 years' experience in equipment and feed manufacturing processes.Ability to develop value-based solutions to solve customer problems.Excellent communication skills in a cross-cultural environment.The technical manager Feed will have a global coordination function and will have to travel regularly to our different partners' locations for meetings, project follow-up, lab testing, field trials and exhibitions. The technical manager will also have close follow-up with the manufacturing units regarding current and new products, as well as customer complaints.
