What you will be doing:
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills while overseeing daily work and administrative functions like time reporting and performance evaluations.
Initiate, design, code, and test programs using application development tools, with support from architects.
Communicate and collaborate across all CCC departments to define and interpret technical requirements within a team environment.
Provide technical expertise and assistance to both internal and external customers, acting as a senior resource for development staff and business leaders.
Stay current with technology trends, contributing to software tool evaluations and adhering to development standards and methodologies.
Lead major projects, ensuring adherence to design guidelines and providing oversight to developers, while autonomously driving progress and collaborating with project managers to define technical plans and monitor progress.
What you'll need:
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 6 years of product development experience with Java, including proficiency in Java frameworks and building tools such as Spring, MyBatis, and Gradle.
Deep expertise with RDBMS, particularly Postgres, and experience with search frameworks and services like Lucene, Elasticsearch, and OpenSearch.
Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful services, along with experience using source management systems like GitHub.
Minimum of 4 years' experience in project management and/or system life cycle development methodology, especially Agile/Safe programming, with strong business analysis and technical skills.
Proactive in adopting emerging technologies and applications, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively and meet deadlines effectively.
Demonstrated organizational, project planning, and leadership skills, along with excellent analytical, interpretative, verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.
