As a Tech Lead - Branch Manager Cloud Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud network infrastructure, ensuring the highest level of security and performance. What you will do: Ensure the stable operation of the production environment by monitoring availability and system health. Design scalable and reliable cloud network architectures using Azure services. Develop automation scripts and templates to provision, configure, and manage cloud network resources. Set up monitoring tools to track network performance, availability, and costs. Optimize network resources for efficient use and cost-effectiveness. Review logs and analyze network traffic to identify and mitigate security threats. Configure virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, security groups, and ACLs in the cloud environment. Implement security best practices, including encryption, IAM, firewalls, and IDS. Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application development teams to align network infrastructure with business objectives. Investigate and respond to security incidents, such as firewall breaches and network intrusions. Maintain accurate documentation of cloud network and firewall policies and incident response procedures. Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in cloud networking. What you bring & who you are: Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science or a related discipline. Several years of experience in larger and complex IT environments. Strong understanding of Azure's cloud platform and networking services. Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, OSPF, MPLS). Knowledge of network security principles and technologies (firewalls, encryption, IDS/IPS, IAM). Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). Ability to use network monitoring tools and troubleshoot network-related issues. Relevant certifications (Azure Networking Engineer, CCNP) are a plus. Aptitude for troubleshooting complex firewall and network security issues. Experience with Web Application Firewall (WAF), proxy solutions, and SASE. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Proficient in English; German is preferred but not essential. Willingness for occasional work on weekends, outside office hours, and on-call duty.
