ABOUT THE JOB
The Technical Knowledge Consultant (TKC) will help elevate the department's understanding of new functionality. The TKC will not be writing our documentation or work directly in creating our training material but will be expected to mentor team members, help educate new hires, and enable the team to tackle more complex assignments. To succeed in this role, you must have experience of working with the OneStream platform with a natural inclination for wanting to know more, share that knowledge with the team and help upskill them. You must be a self-starter, accountable, driven, ethical, hard-working, personable, and persistent.
You must also be able to work independently and with a team.
RESPONSIBILITIES Knowledge Capture
Investigate product features and solutions in advance of any new training courses being created, to expedite content development. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and attend Sprint calls to understand upcoming features and solutions, becoming a SME who can enable the department with creating training content, and validating documentation. Seek out use-cases for new features and solutions, to accelerate how we enable the OneStream community. Liaise with our support teams to understand which topics are causing concern and determine documentation/training approaches to help solve the underlying issues.Enablement
Function as a SME to the Product Knowledge department. Use effective knowledge transfer to accelerate department deliverables. Deliver department-level training and enablement sessions to deepen their understanding of the platform. Act as a mentor to new hires, helping build their knowledge and understanding of the platform and solutions. Identify shortfalls in knowledge to help enhance the value of our documentation and training content. Help maintain and update the OneStream application used for creating new courses. Validate content for the Release Highlights eLearning course.Content Validation
Support the Documentation team by providing practical use cases for reference material, release notes, and other documentation. Support the Content Development team to ensure the technical accuracy of learning assets.REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
BSc / MSc in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or Information Technology. 3+ years OneStream experience in a support function, working closely with engineering, enablement, delivery, and product management teams. Technical proficiency with, and an understanding of, enterprise technologies. Experience working in a growth organization where quick-thinking and flexibility are essential. Analyze and communicate technical issues and lead discussion.
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Accounting or finance background. Product knowledge equivalent to a OneStream Certified Architect. Knowledge of SQL database technologies and database management. Knowledge of VB.Net.
