You will be joining this studio as Technical Director.RoleWe are seeking a talented Technical Director to lead our team in creating the next $1B casual hit. This unique opportunity involves defining and building the foundation of a new Match 3 studio from the ground up, covering technical, operational, and strategic aspects:Partner with the General Manager to structure, recruit, and onboard the technical team.Define and establish the technical foundations for a new Match 3 game studio, addressing all aspects from prototype to worldwide launch, including the creation of the switcher engine and level editor.Develop and implement ways of working for the engineering craft, including technical practices, team rituals, and collaboration processes.Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for the studio, ensuring scalability for both the team and the game, in alignment with the overall product and studio strategy.Work with product leadership on roadmap, rollouts, and adoption strategies.Engage in hands-on coding when needed, building Match 3 prototypes and iterating rapidly based on player feedback and market testing.Monitor the health of the product, guiding the technical team to continuously enhance product quality and address issues promptly.Help the General Manager and other directors manage the studio, contributing to its strategy, operations, and people management, always fostering a culture of innovation and creativity.With this role, you will have a strong impact on the company by contributing daily to important decisions with a senior, multidisciplinary team of passionate and talented people working on one of the most ambitious Voodoo games. Flesh out the details of a game's design, oversee its testing and revise the game in response to player feedback.
