Job Description
Key Responsibilities: Deploying and integrating enterprise solutions including:Configuration of the software and supporting applicationsResponding to and leading resolution of technical issuesAdhering to and enhancing software development approaches and methodologiesAbility to self-manage in delivering high quality work product to meet project expectations within deadlines.Tracking and reporting development progress to Team leadAbility to work with other members of teams in a collaborative mannerKey Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics or Statistics or closely related fieldProfessional experience as a strong individual contributor in a team in enterprise-wide software deliveries using an SDLC delivery framework (Waterfall or Agile)Hands on experience in the following:DBMS/Databases: Strong knowledge of SQL concepts and procedural language constructs in either Oracle or PostgreSQL. Other DBMS such as SQL Server, MySQL, or DB2 may be consideredScripting: Linux/Unix and shell scripting (must be comfortable working in linux based environmentsAbility to provide hands-on support to test team during QA cycles.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and interpersonal skills Nice to have: Experience in financial services insurance industry such as Banks, Payment providers, MSB, Clearinghouse, InsuranceExperience in AML , regulatory compliance, fraud or payments industriesKnowledge of CI/CD Tools and PipelineCloud providers – AWS, AzureExperience with XSLT, XML, or JavaScriptData Analytics/Mining: Using SAS, R, Python - Experience handling, processing, and analyzing large data sources. Knowledge of statistics and predictive modellingDatabase designAny Technical or domain certificationJ2EE Application Servers: JBoss EAP, IBM WebSphere (familiarity in at least 1 is required)Messaging and Streams: JMS and KafkaSource Control Tools (SVN, GIT of equivalent)
