Project: Technical Assistance to ARSO in Road SafetyThe general objective of this assignment is to help improve road safety in Africa through the production of better data and capacitation on state-of-the-art decision making. This is a long-standing commitment of the AU towards its Member States. The EU is a long-term partner of the AU on this topic.NTU International A/S, leading a strong international consortium, is proud to have been awarded the Technical Assistance to ARSO in Road Safety and we are looking to expand our network with skilled local partners from the target countries.Position: Local Companies, Institutions, Organisations, etc., or Private ConsultantsLocation: Inside and outside EU-27The relevant sectors for this project are the following:Transport sector policy and planning;Transport regulations and safety;Feasibility studies and project preparation;Road maintenance planning and implementation;Environmental sustainability and disaster risk reduction;Transport infrastructure finance and procurement, public-private partnerships;Road Maintenance Funds establishment and operations;Quality infrastructure and standards;IT / digitalisation tools development;Satellite data collection / utilisation / artificial intelligenceAssignment duration: 200 person-days in total (50x4 person-days per year)Language skills:At least level C1 in EnglishKnowledge of other languages spoken in Africa such as Arabic, Swahili, Zulu, etc. would be considered an assetIf you are interested in this position, please apply and upload your CV.
