Technical Artist

Responsibilities

Help establish workflows and best practices and create the tools to enable them.

Profile the game, looking for problems and opportunities for improvement.

Educate and support the team on how to achieve visual quality and high performance at the same time.

Establish technical guidelines and create the tools that ensure they are followed.

Provide day-to-day technical art support for the team and debug issues.

Minimum Requirements:

Extensive Unity skills.

Experience with Git & Perforce.

Strong C# coding skills.

Basic 3D art creation skills.

Tool development experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

Excellent communication and social skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Basic knowledge of rendering and shaders.

Good understanding of software performance.

Key Attributes:

The ability to spot problems and inspire enthusiasm within the team about fixing them.

A strong passion for finding ways to make things better.

Positive outlook and perseverance no matter the challenge.

True team player.

Nice to have:

Version control admin experience.
