NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for a new European Investment Bank (EIB) project: Framework Agreement to Support EIB Advisory Services for Project Development Assistance (PDA), Lot 2 – Technical Advisory: Energy Intensive Industries & Cleantech .
We are looking to expand our network by partnering with skilled local experts from the target countries.
Objective: The scope of Lot 2 is to provide technical assistance in the sub-sectors of Energy Intensive Industries and Cleantech.
The support may include activities such as technology assessment, feasibility studies, market studies, and due diligence and project preparation support.
Duration: The indicative start date of the service contract is Q1 2025.
Relevant Sectors for this Project (Energy Intensive Industry): The sub-sectors include: Clean-tech Manufacturing: Construction and operation of manufacturing facilities to produce specific components for: Renewable energy installations (including photovoltaics, concentrated solar power, onshore and offshore wind power, ocean energy, geothermal, solar thermal, and others), including their connection to the electricity/heat grid.
Electrolysers and fuel cells.
Energy storage solutions, covering both batteries and other storage solutions for stationary and mobile use, including intra-day and long-duration storage.
Heat pumps.
Horizontal Expertise: For this assignment, we highly value horizontal expertise in the following areas: Technology Assessment: Technology readiness assessment, technology qualification, design review, performance validation, risk assessment (including scaling-up risks).
Feasibility Studies: Technology options, business models, economic viability, optimal design parameters, operational strategy.
Market Studies: Market size and price outlook, competition, barriers, and regulatory environment.
Due Diligence and Project Preparation Support: Production estimates, technology track record and suitability, civil and electrical design review, contractual arrangements, procurement, project schedules, interconnection, permitting, CAPEX and OPEX, life cycle assessment.
