We are looking for a Tech Specialist - Mobile Specialist - iOS to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

Position Snapshot Location: Nespresso Headquarters, Barcelona, Spain.

About the Role As an iOS Mobile Technology Specialist, you will be working on the mobile technology powering the Nespresso business, both on eCommerce and IoT landscapes. You will work in a direct-to-customer context with significant volumes and traffic and a rich feature offering, being part of a large development organization with direct impact on the online business.

You will bring deep technical expertise and knowledge to the product team, being part of the technical reference team for Nespresso mobile applications. You will guide and promote optimal use of technology to support the cost-effective delivery of business requirements within the area of expertise.

You will provide the necessary leadership, analysis, and design tasks related to the development of iOS applications. You will work closely with the Android specialist, DevOps, development teams, and suppliers to secure optimal delivery and maximized business value.

What You'll Bring Interpret written business requirements and technical specification documents. Provide the product team with technical expertise, advising on best technology solutions, translating the business vision into technical vision. Perform preliminary studies, general systems specifications, and detailed systems specifications. Estimate development effort for new projects and report progress of developments to both technical and non-technical communities. Liaise closely with suppliers and vendors, where third parties work or packages involve significant functional, technical, process, data, or integration decisions. Ensure the quality of the delivery of the external partners and its alignment to the Nespresso strategy. Recommend, set up, and follow development best practices and ensure their adoption inside software development teams. Contribute to the availability and evolution of the Continuous Integration solution (including quality and security checks) in collaboration with the teams running the service. Drive and influence the technical activity (design, build, testing) in significant or complex development initiatives. Assist others in resolving complex technical problems and investigating the root cause of problems, recommending smart solutions. Responsible for ensuring that all solutions within your technology area are delivered and maintained secure and compliant with internal standards and external regulations. Participate in peer reviews of deliverables and carry out formal and informal reviews of technical designs, standards, documentation, and/or implementations. Who You Are Effectively communicates in English and holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. More than 5 years of experience in the relevant area of expertise, including 3-5 years as a developer and 2-3 years as a technical lead. Hands-on experience working in the development of applications using Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, Swift Package Manager (SPM), and CocoaPods. Experience with Firebase and Crashlytics will be a plus. Experience in successfully leading technical evaluations. Previous experience in code inspection, review, and code quality checks, including experience with unit tests, integration tests, and instrumentation tests. Bonus Points If You: Have a strong focus and experience in native app development for iOS, with valuable Android experience. Are passionate about technology and software development and can bridge technical and non-technical populations in a large organization. Have a deep understanding of agile methods and processes. Have experience working in a global environment and with virtual teams. Ability to understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of situations. Experience in resolving technical issues, including those involving third parties.
