ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a Tech Manager that oversees the planning, implementation, and maintenance of all Kings League events' technology infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around ensuring smooth operational workflows, implementing technology solutions, and keeping pace with evolving technology trends to ensure the continued success of Kings League events.
Main responsibilities:
Venue start-up: Oversee the initial set-up of all technology systems at each event venue. Ensure all equipment, including video/audio systems, networking, and broadcasting tools, is installed, configured, and ready for event operations. Coordinate with vendors and other teams to ensure smooth logistical execution during the start-up phase. Venue maintenance: Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance during the event. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the technology infrastructure, including live-streaming platforms, video/audio feeds, and other broadcasting systems. React to the day-to-day changes proposed by Content: Adapt and adjust based on content needs that may arise during the course of the event (e.g., changes in camera setups, streaming requirements, or new content features). Implement last-minute adjustments or technical changes required by content creators or producers. Propose improvements and improve the technique as the technique evolves or as the budget improves/improves. ABOUT YOU Requirements:
IP Video/Audio Expertise: Proficient in IP video/audio technologies (Dante, NDI, 2110). Experienced in configuring and troubleshooting IP systems for live events. IT Networks Knowledge: Deep understanding of LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure for reliable video/audio transmission. Skilled in network troubleshooting and ensuring redundancy during live broadcasts. Non-Broadcast Equipment: Hands-on experience with VMIX, OBS, and streaming platforms for live production. Familiar with software-based video switching and streaming tools. Broadcast Expertise: Knowledgeable in broadcast equipment installation, cabling, and intercom setups. Expertise in broadcast ecosystems (cameras, servers, routers). Adaptation to New Techniques: Stay updated with advancements in broadcasting and streaming technologies.
