We're looking for a Senior Tech Lead to help us build our Operating System for the Music Industry by managing our technical teams in order to continually improve our products.

Our tech stack is mainly Python, Django, AWS, PostgreSQL, AWS Batch.
You will be leading our Pronto engineering product, a SaaS platform that ingests 24/7 all the plays from the Digital Service Providers like Spotify, Youtube, Amazon Music, Apple, etc and processes trillions of these plays to find the proper rights owners and help the collective management organizations and music publishers to distribute fairly the revenue from the digital streams.
Responsibilities 6 years of experience as a software engineer 2 years of experience in a leadership role Strong knowledge of Python Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) Being comfortable designing distributed systems (experience with AWS Batch/Redis RQ is a plus) Experience working with brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ Experience working with cache (Redis is a plus) Experience with async Python code (asyncio) Being resolutive and creative Proven experience redesigning and refactoring systems Good communication skills - very important to have excellent written comms skills as most of the team works remotely Being proactive - you feel that you need to scale the system, you need to improve what is currently in place in order to always have the best platform, you don't need anybody telling you what's your next step Being a leader - being the top responsible for the entire project and team, having the whole team aligned, working as a unit; removing silos, sharing knowledge, doing performance reviews, hiring people.
