Role: The Email Team Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the activities of the Email department and team. Managing and leading a team's day-to-day activity, the Email Team Leader is responsible for motivating, directing, and leading their team towards a common company goal. The Email Team Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with partners, identifying new markets to move into, marketing incentives, partnerships, and any other initiatives that enable advertising revenue opportunities for the business. The Email Team Leader reports directly to the Head of Publishing.
Responsibilities: Undertake a thorough market research study and keep up to date with the email industry.Execution of yearly and quarterly strategies to achieve revenue goals.Responsible for retaining existing list holders/brokers and publishers in the Email department.Prospecting of new Publishers and Advertisers for Emailing and maintaining the business pipeline up to date.Participate in the selection and onboarding of new members in the team.Lead the team to consistently meet - and exceed where possible - quarterly team goals.Build a strong team spirit within the Email team, eager to win business.Improve, document, and communicate the sales strategy.Provide greater support and expertise across the Email and Sales team and conduct regular performance reviews (1-2-1s, quarterly reviews, and evaluations).Active participation in Sales and Inter-departmental meetings.Lead email training activities at ExoClick University or on ad-hoc training modules.Provide technical requirements and suggestions to implement to monetize email traffic.Available to attend and represent the company at local/international trade shows.Together with your Head and Management, define and implement a Marketing strategy to promote ExoClick's activity on Emailing.Providing constant and timely feedback to Head of Publishers and Management team.Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and acting as a point of contact for escalation of email issues.Requirements: A team manager for the Email Team Manager position would be expected to possess a range of technical, managerial, and soft skills to effectively oversee and lead a team towards meeting company goals.
Educational and Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.Several years of experience in online advertising, preferably with dating advertising and a few years in a leadership or managerial role.Technical & Industry Knowledge: Proficiency with online advertising platforms like ExoClick and Programmatic platforms.Understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem including concepts like RTB (Real-Time Bidding), DSP (Demand Side Platform), and SSP (Supply Side Platform).Knowledge of RTB, XML technology, and metrics.Familiarity with email tools used by database owners.Managerial & Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business goals.Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Problem-solving abilities.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Critical thinking and decision-making capabilities.Adaptability to rapidly changing advertising industry trends.What you'll find working at ExoClick: We offer a position in a young, dynamic, and international team with exceptional working conditions in unique offices high up in the Torre Mapfre, one of Barcelona's world-renowned landmarks, located right on the city's seafront.
