REEL International, with over 2,500 employees, is a worldwide industrial group specializing in complex lifting and handling systems as well as integrated systems solutions for the nuclear, airport, aeronautical, offshore, and heavy industries. In Málaga (Spain), Reel is active through its affiliate REEL AEI, a company specialized in the design and manufacture of drilling machines and tooling for the aeronautic sector, including full design skills in-house and delivery service and technical assistance to its clients as one of its core activities. The existing affiliate employs approximately 10 people, with a perspective to grow to up to 25 people within the next 3 years.
Position:The Team Manager position is a project multifunctional profile, who will accompany and favor the growth of the affiliate and lead the operational areas of the company with the support of the headquarter and the tooling projects for the aeronautical sector, from the requested quotation to the delivery on customer site. The essential functions include, but are not limited to:
Manage recruitment of new employees to ensure the growth of activity.Create offers and cost estimation.Deliver projects as per contractual obligation in quality, time, and within budget.Coordinate engineering with respective equipment and plant design groups.Draw up technical documentation for manufacturing. Follow-up supply chain and manufacturing.Control the proper execution of design by the design team and verify design consistency.Manage installation on customer site and carry out functional tests under real operation conditions.Provide technical, schedule, leadership, and if necessary, supervision, to all various groups throughout the project lifecycle, in many cases a multiyear endeavor.Manage the project budget.Prepare project progress reports, both internally and to the client.Identify, follow, resolve or red flag any project-related risks as well as updating prepared risk analysis.Identify resources needed for execution of projects through all phases.Manage and process standard project components such as change orders, reports, purchase plans, and approvals.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering.7 years of experience in project management.Experience in team leadership.Experience in project management; aeronautic sector experience is a plus.Understanding customer needs and perspectives while maintaining a reasonable company position.Ability to interpret drawings and detect errors and improvements; knowledge and experience with CATIA and Solidworks is a plus.Strong communication skills.Ethical conduct.Results-driven and rigorous; initiative and adaptability.Good written/spoken English and Spanish; French is not essential but a plus.Travel in Spain and foreign countries is expected.Other Information:Permanent contract.
