Would you like to be part of our new adventure? Vodafone Group is launching its new technological HUB (MSH), an international center of excellence dedicated to research and development of technical solutions, such as Secure Networks, 5G and 6G development, Open RAN, IoT, MPN & MEC and UCC for Vodafone Business, platforms and enterprise solutions.
Come and join us to create the future together! We are looking for a Platform Product Owner (Technical) with a solid background in DevOps/Cloud/Infrastructure Architectures to collaborate and be part of the MPN Platform Team formed by Cloud, DevOps, and Infrastructure Engineering skills.
You will be the interface with Development Teams, Solution Architects, and Product Management to define the roadmap and strategy of the MPN Platform.
Main activities: Define and drive the Platform roadmap. Define and prioritize Platform Activities, integrating Product Requirements, organizational objectives, and Non-Functional Requirements (NFR) in the backlog.
We work in Agile. Detect and anticipate Platform needs (Cloud, DevOps, Infrastructure) to incorporate into the backlog.
Your technical background is very important. Align with external teams and Product Management to free the Engineering Team from bureaucratic activities. Collaborate in the definition of the support model, SLA, and customer services. Collaborate in the hiring process and provide guidelines to Platform Team members. You will not work alone; we believe in an inclusive and horizontal culture where there isn't a distinction between Scrum Masters, Developers, Managers, and Product Owners, we are the Platform Team! What you bring: Practical experience (at least 2 years) as DevOps, Cloud, or Platform Product Owner, defining and prioritizing activities, interacting with Stakeholders/Product Management and Engineering Teams. Capacity to translate business requirements into technical requirements supported by Engineering colleagues. Ability to make key decisions and prioritize complex requirements. Previous Development/Design experience (at least 3 years) in Platform, DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineer roles.
Don't worry, we are not looking for a superhero; you will not develop in this role, but for us, it is very important your "development" view as Product Owner. Good communication skills, you will interact with people from different backgrounds, from technical to business roles. Quick ability to learn and adapt to new technological requirements.
Most of the new proposals will come from you.
Proactive instead of reactive mindset. Nice to have: Previous development/design experience in Kubernetes, AWS, Virtualization technologies. Automation first.
Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g.
Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Github Action). Experience in Release Management process. Involved in OSS requirements: Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, AlertManager or similar. Familiar with Infrastructure terminology: Physical Servers, Networking, Firewall, Switch. Telco and 5G experience or Industrial IoT environment experience is a plus. Not a perfect fit?
