Are you our new IT Team Lead Core Banking? As an IT Team Lead Core Banking, you will be responsible for leading a team of technology professionals in the development, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions for Secured Loans leveraging Temenos' Core Banking. You will collaborate with functional teams (Transact/T24 SMEs) and Temenos to deliver high-quality products and business requirements within an agile environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to effectively manage and mentor team members while managing expectations of several stakeholders.
What you will do: Lead a team of technology professionals (mainly Transact/T24 Developers) in the design, development, testing, deployment, and support of software solutions for Secured Loans.Oversee the execution of project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.Take on the role of technology owner for the applications within the Secured Loans area (Transact/T24), managing technical risks and collaborating with business owners and other stakeholders (i.e., Audit, Compliance, Information Security, etc.).Review the development backlog, liaising with Functional/Business teams to ensure user stories are completed, technically feasible, and ready for development.Have a deep understanding of the overall Core Banking implementation, as well as the Architecture and Cloud setup, to effectively coordinate with other teams (Temenos Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations, etc.).Address technical challenges and blockers promptly, working with the team to find appropriate solutions.Serve as a liaison between technical teams and other stakeholders, effectively communicating project status, risks, and dependencies.Drive code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability while adhering to information security standards.Act as Scrum Master to facilitate collaboration with product ownership to define project requirements and priorities.Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting open communication and constructive feedback.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.Drive process improvements and best practices in software development methodologies, tools, and techniques.What we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience with Temenos' software development (5+ years), with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role preferably in an agile environment.T24/Transact knowledge: TDH, Cloud serviced Transact, AA, Payments, Core, Multicompany, integration framework, interaction framework.Very good knowledge of the software development life-cycle, deep understanding of software development principles, tools, practices, and methodologies.Knowledge of software engineering best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment automation.Experience with cloud computing platforms and services, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members in a matrix-like environment.Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, and decision-making abilities, focusing on delivering practical solutions to complex technical challenges.Good working knowledge of project tools (i.e., Jira & Confluence).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.Language: Full English proficiency is mandatory (Verbal & Written).What we offer: A challenging, exciting, and developing position in an international company with growth ambitions.Highly motivated and skilled co-workers globally.Being part of a supportive culture where effort counts.We facilitate your learning through different learning arenas.About Intrum: Intrum is the industry-leading provider of credit management services across 20 markets in Europe.
