NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Technical Assistance to Mobilise Stakeholders around Global Gateway Priorities in Nigeria and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The primary objective of this contract is to support the effective mobilisation of stakeholders (Member States, development financial institutions, public and private sectors) around the Global Gateway priorities in Nigeria, including, but not limited to, digital economy, transport and health as well as cross cutting thematic such as innovative financing, business climate and governance, through structured engagement and strategic intelligence gathering.
Project Duration: The indicative start date is 03/03/2025 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 729 Day(s) from this date (indicative end date: 02/03/2027).
Location: Abuja, Nigeria.
Team Lead (Cat.
I): ? Qualifications and skills: Advanced degree (Master's level or higher) in economics, business administration, international relations, or a related field.
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Proven capacity to analyze economic, regulatory, and technical data to support strategic decision-making.
Strong organizational and project management skills, with a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
Proficiency in English is required.
? General professional experience: At least 12 years of professional experience in private sector development, investment promotion, or economic development, preferably within emerging markets or in roles with direct exposure to the African continent.
Proven experience in mobilizing and engaging diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, international organizations, and private sector players.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and to manage relationships across organisations.
? Specific professional experience: Extensive experience in identifying and assessing investment opportunities, particularly in sectors such as digital economy, health, transport, and infrastructure Expertise in analyzing market trends, regulatory environments, and barriers to entry, particularly in relation to governance issues, to generate insights that support informed decision-making for investment strategies.
Experience organizing and leading stakeholder engagements, workshops, and policy dialogue sessions, especially in contexts involving EU and African partnerships.
Proven experience in developing sector-specific roadmaps that outline investment opportunities and actionable steps to enhance public and private sector involvement.
