Requirements: PhD in Linguistics or similar level of qualification (completed prior to the start of the appointment).Experience as a university lecturer and researcher in the area of Linguistics and/or Applied Linguistics.English level required: C2.A positive assessment as a Private University Lecturer / Associate Professor by a Spanish/Basque Official Quality Agency (ANECA / UNIBASQ), equivalent foreign accreditation/qualification, or commitment to obtain a positive assessment within two years.Assets: Being a native speaker of English with an area of specialization in Applied Linguistics or Language Pedagogy and a potential research development.High impact publications as well as participation in competitive research projects are highly valued.Experience and participation in tutorial plans, coordination of undergraduate or postgraduate programmes and having delivered or participated in online training courses.Spanish level C1/C2 will be highly valued.Having a knowledge of Basque language or willingness to learn it will be considered an advantage.We seek a qualified professional, team-oriented, with a teaching vocation, empathy, motivation for innovation, and capacity to adapt and to identify with UD's identity and mission.
