Teacher Of Physics (Cover)

ROLE SUMMARY: King's College, Soto de Viñuelas, world-renowned for academic excellence and student leadership, is seeking to appoint a dynamic, inspiring and ambitious professional to the position of Teacher of Physics to join our teaching team on a temporary cover basis from September 2024. Experience of teaching IGCSE and A Level Physics. An ability to teach mathematics is an advantage but not essential.

We are looking for enthusiastic and committed teachers who would like to join our school located in the beautiful city of Madrid, ideally with an immediate start on a temporary cover basis.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: A dynamic and pro-active teacher, preferably with independent sector or international experience Strong team player willing to support other colleagues Excellent working knowledge of the English National Curriculum Fluency in written and spoken English Pastoral responsibility or experience would be an advantage Willingness to contribute to the wider life of the school Knowledge of Spanish, or willingness to learn Spanish would be an advantage THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE: Achieved Qualified Teacher status (Applications from NQTs also welcome) A degree or equivalent in the subject to be taught Experience in iGCSE Experience in teaching and the ability to motivate a diverse student body Strong IT skills SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT: Inspired Education Group is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and other third parties to share this commitment.
