Are you passionate about logistics and looking to work in an exciting and dynamic company? We're looking for a passionate logistics professional to join our team! As the Logistics Supervisor, you'll have the opportunity to supervise compliance with agreed loading commitments with the Sourcing department, while managing transportation from plants to customers and own production centers.
You will also be responsible for supervising and ensuring the optimization of routes, coordinating the tasks of the planning team, and supervising the correct performance of telemetry staff tasks. Additionally, you will manage and monitor transportation costs, propose optimization and palliative measures for any deviations, and always ensure safety and quality in transportation.
Your responsibilities include organizing schedules and the calendar of the liquids distribution team, supervising the performance of your colleagues, and guaranteeing exceptional customer service. You will create monthly and quarterly reports on logistics indices and dimension cryogenic tanks to be installed for customers. You will actively participate in the digitalization and task automation processes, contributing to the company's evolution towards digital transformation.
What makes you great
You have a middle or superior degree or diploma related to Supply Chain or similar. We're looking for someone with experience in the logistics field and a passion for staying up to date with the latest technologies to use them to automate processes and reduce costs.
You will maintain high standards of compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and the quality system. You have strong knowledge of distribution, transportation, and purchases, along with official safety and environmental regulations, ADR regulations, and Advisor for the Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail.
You should be comfortable with computer programs and know your way around SAP, SRM, LCS, and Map&Guide. At least 3 years of experience in a similar position in a multinational company, preferably in the chemical sector, is required. You should approach your work with discipline and a systematic mindset, while being a team motivator and collaborating well with others.
You must be fluent in Spanish and/or Portuguese and be able to communicate effectively in advanced English; planning and being in control of your work should be one of your strengths. You should be excited about tackling new challenges and being an active contributor to our digital transformation project. You are able to collect, interpret and use data effectively, driving digital transformation.
