SaT Consultant (Strategy and Transactions department) – Technical position The opportunity
As a member of our team in the GDS office in Malaga, Spain, you'll have a chance to extend your knowledge & experience by working on interesting projects with the newest technologies and approaches.
You will work hand in hand with the EY Spain teams in the different projects of the ESG area (environment, social and governance).
Your key functions Participate in the realization of ESG Due Diligence (complete or partial such as environmental DD, H&S; DD, supply chain DD, etc.)
in transactions and strategic projects, considering the financial implications. Analyze ESG regulatory compliance, policies, and procedures of a company or business based on authorizations, technical documentation, and accountability information. Identify and quantify contingencies. Organize workshops and/or interviews. Select actions and initiatives that create value in the operation. Elaborate the ESG DD reports. Participate in strategic projects on climate change, sustainable mobility, plastic strategy, circular economy, biodiversity, etc. Collect and analyze data; write reports and technical documents with the available information. Research ESG practices in industries from different sectors, at European and global levels, in order to suggest realistic and feasible protocols for best practices implementation. Support in the preparation of content for proposals and marketing materials. Collaborate with sustainability experts and global technical consultants from EY Group, not only to deliver large projects but also to support the development of new service areas and innovative products for our customers. Skills and attributes for success Very good knowledge of MS-Office, incl.
PowerPoint. Outstanding research, analytical, and conceptual skills. Very flexible, pragmatic, and resilient. Proactive, desire to learn, and involvement. To qualify for the role, you must have: Degree in industrial or civil engineering (other engineering with knowledge in industrial manufacturing processes can be valuable). Knowledge in technical (industrial) regulations: licenses and permits, industrial safety, REACH, CLP, SEVESO, etc. Knowledge in environmental regulations, as well as in occupational health and safety regulations. Work experience 0-3 years. Knowledge and interest in ESG. Fluent written and spoken business English.
High level - C1. Ideally, you'll also have a specific master's degree in Sustainability, Corporate Social Responsibility, or related fields. Knowledge in other languages (French, German, Portuguese…). What we look for We are looking for a proactive, dynamic person eager to learn.
