We are proud to set the standard for success in our industry. We are looking for a strong, talented individual to lead our Finance team with the requirements for a Head of Finance. The Head of Finance will be ideally based in our office in Barcelona and will report to the VP Finance EMEA ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions.
Position summary : The person responsible for this role will be the leader of our shared service organization in Iberica and will partner with multiple business areas with unique business models while supporting them in achieving their ambitious goals by managing the finance shared services. This includes the production of periodic financial and tax reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial and tax results, manage the cash in coordination with Group Treasury and ensure that reported results comply with local GAAP and international financial reporting standards. This role will require strategic leadership to identify and define a shared service function, implementing adequate processes to successfully manage the continued implementation of SAP S4 Hana and lead the Finance shared services. This person will also manage the AR and AP team in addition to the management of the accounting team. In this role, the Head of Finance will ensure the merge of different relatively small finance organizations into one standardized and unified organization and drive upcoming merges and business transformation in order to increase efficiencies.

Main Duties of Job
Lead, develop, and grow a large team of finance professionals; supporting a complex finance structure made up of different business areas within a large organization.
Creating a shared service function, redesigning processes and implementing new methods to successfully define and manage the new finance function.
Implementing a robust framework of controls and processes to enable the business to process, record and analyze transactions across the business areas.
Heavily involved in the continued implementation of SAP S4 Hana, identifying, and escalating any issues and leading the team to define new methods.
Take management responsibility for all staff within the Finance function and oversee those within the Financial Shared Services function.
Ensure adequate resources are available to support key business needs.
Oversee the operations of the AAGS Iberica Finance Department.
Ensure accurate group reporting (HFM) within deadlines.
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures and ensure an adequate system of controls over accounting transactions is in place.
Drive the procedures improvement and formalization from orders to cash and inventory transactions, in conjunction with the other department managers.
Align local financial and accounting procedures with the rest of the Division.
Oversee the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit.
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and tax requirements.
Manage the teams' responsibilities and ensure tasks are assigned appropriately.
Serve as a change agent within the organization and provide leadership as new systems and processes are integrated into the organization.
Cascading and implementing any directions from the regional VP Finance and effectively communicating all updates.
Requirements :
At least 15 years' experience within a seniority role within the Finance function.
Proven record to lead a finance team.
A proven track record of understanding & presenting complex financial information.
