About the role We are looking for a motivated and energetic person, with good interpersonal and problem-solving skills to work as a Tax Supervisor based in our office in Tarifa.
You will report to the local Director of Finance BU Strait of Gibraltar.

What you must have: Business Administration degree or equivalent.
Specific courses or education in tax or fiscal matters are positively valued.
A high level of English is required (fluent in spoken and written).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role to the one described above, in an international environment and companies with a business turnover > €50M, or at least 2 years of experience in tax advisory, preferably in a Big-Four Company.
Used to fill tax returns, deal with SII, and online tax return payments.
Analytical and methodical person, with the ability to self-manage and plan tasks to meet deadlines.
Experience in consolidated tax groups of companies or tax consolidation will be valued positively.
Team player used to work under pressure and with deadlines.
Shipping industry experience is ideal, although not essential.
Knowledge of using SAP is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
A high level of Excel.
Key responsibilities Management and filling of all tax returns for a group of five entities: 111, 115, VAT, Social Security, IS, 216, etc.
Complying with all tax and fiscal obligations to all group entities in due time and form.
Help the Finance Director in auditing processes.
Filling of Annual Accounts in the Mercantile Registry.
Management and response to all notifications from the AEAT in a timely manner.
Management and response to all notifications from different governmental bodies: INE, Bank of Spain, etc.
Registration of vessels under the Tonnage Tax Regime.
Posting of wages and salaries journal entries for all group companies.
