Tax Manager (Compliance and Advisory) - Fully Remote I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a global client for the role of Senior UK Tax Compliance Advisor. This fully remote position provides an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in enhancing the corporation tax compliance process for all UK legal entities. The role includes monthly travel for 2-day meetings on a quarterly basis, rotating between Birmingham, Sevilla (Spain), and Deventer (Netherlands).
Key Responsibilities: Transform Tax Compliance: Lead the improvement and innovation of the corporation tax compliance process, making it more efficient and accurate for UK entities.Manage Tax Returns: Oversee the preparation of approximately 40 UK corporation tax returns, ensuring they are accurate and compliant with regulations.Develop Strategic Computations: Create detailed draft computations for inclusion in statutory accounts, including deferred tax, and refine submitted tax returns for year-end global provisions.Forecast and Optimise: Use profit forecasts to calculate and adjust corporation tax payments for the UK GPA, helping to guide financial decisions.Navigate Legislation: Assist with the calculation of corporate interest restrictions and perform reviews of subsidiary companies to ensure compliance with UK CFC legislation.Support SAO Reporting: Contribute to SAO (Senior Accounting Officer) reporting, enhancing internal controls and compliance frameworks.Engage in M&A: Provide direct tax expertise during mergers and acquisitions, supporting due diligence and the seamless integration of new business acquisitions.Assist with PPT and PSA/ERS Reporting: Support Post-Patent Tax (PPT) and Pay As You Earn Settlement (PSA) & Employment Related Securities (ERS) reporting, ensuring comprehensive tax oversight.Coordinate Globally: Work with international teams to ensure tax compliance is consistent across different countries, helping to strengthen the global tax strategy.Candidate Requirements: Qualified or part-qualified (ATT/CTA/ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 3 years of solid corporate tax experience, whether gained from practice or an in-house role.Demonstrated ability to manage tax return activities independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.Excellent analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic setting.Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining robust relationships both internally and externally.If you are excited about driving innovation in tax compliance and are ready for a role with global reach, please apply now.
