.Airbus Group – Getafe, MadridA position as a Production Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe. The successful applicant will join the ADS department.RESPONSIBILITIESSupport production activities related to MRTT conversion.Coordination of multifunctional team to achieve the delivery goals without pending works.Ensure Health and Safety, FOD and House Keeping standards accomplishment in the area.Accomplish the level of quality required reducing the cost of non-quality.Follow the schedule and continuous improvement in order to reduce costs and lead time.Follow the Job Cards instructions and MI tasks associated with continuous improvement.Organize the different tasks in order to achieve a high level of efficiency.Accomplish the conversion tasks within established budget and all proposals to reduce costs when possible.Manage the incidents generated at shop floor level and control their flow.Contribute to Production excellence by managing and leading the Production tools.Contribute to staff improvement expertise by increasing their capabilities and skills.Work in double shift.Provide shop floor support in order to solve issues during manufacturing processes.Support the multi-functional team for the problem-solving and improvement process.Manufacturing structure and process, associated documentation (work order, technical instruction, job card), updated process.Manufacturing feedback (KAIZEN, Practical Problem Solving).Updated documentation, technical solution, improvement proposal, and implementation.Support the department during aircraft conversion into MRTT, in particular disassembling and aircraft stress-free.Maintain the facilities in adequate order in compliance with the standards of HK, FOD, and safety rules.SKILLSEducated in an Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering degree or a related discipline.At least 2 years of experience in Production or Engineering Manufacturing.Experience in A330 /green aircraft/modified aircraft and tanker systems.Management of all qualifications of personnel and facilities required from Airworthiness Authorities, both civil and military.Language skills: English and Spanish at an advanced level.Knowledge in SIPLA, Digital Bar Chart, SNT, DEMAT, CATIA.Knowledge in planning systems is a plus.Experience in Project and Team Management will be a plus.Experience in managing people and conflicts.Team spirit, autonomous and willingness to learn.High adaptability to work on new topics, new business, and in a network mode.Able to propose new ideas: innovation and digitalization as well as continuous improvement.Team player and proactive mindset.
