As a Talent Planner, you will source supply and demand to effectively and efficiently staff projects with the right people at the right time.
You will work with various parties within Avanade, including Capability Leads, Talent Community Leads, Business Developers, Solution Architects, Solution Area teams, and fellow Planners.
Day-to-day you will:Evaluate people based on demand requirements and take into consideration the individual's preferences as well as career development goals.Consider all workforce channels in filling assignments (e.g., existing employees, contractors, new joiners, offshore, nearshore).Ensure smooth transition for the consultants who are on and between customer engagements; manage bench process for available people.Proactively communicate availability of employees and drive to have available employees scheduled.Help set expectations on availability of skills with business and project leadership.Work with business and sales leadership on availability of skills to help them develop and close opportunities.Update and maintain data in the scheduling system while ensuring information is accurate and reliable.Serve as the main point of contact for assignment fulfillment.Understand assignment priorities from Capability Lead and ensure project & assignment priorities are accurate in scheduling tool.Act as cross-border staffing point of contact and support all cross-border staffing related processes.Distribute ad-hoc reports when needed.Understand employees' strengths and areas for development.Work with Scheduling team to enhance scheduling systems and processes.Balance short-term charge-ability with employee skills rotation needs and preferences.Qualifications:Business fluent in English, written and verbal.Demonstrate success working in a dynamic, frequently changing and geographically dispersed environment.Goal-oriented and has a sense of urgency to get things done.Willing to seek responsibility and take ownership of tasks.Organized with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.Independent, persistent, and decisive.Able to work well under pressure and deadlines.Great interpersonal skills.Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.Able to facilitate and balance needs of stakeholders (i.e., customers, Business Leadership, and consultants in the fulfilment of a role in a project).Able to stay updated on developments in Microsoft technologies.
Previous knowledge of MS technologies highly desirable.Possess sound working knowledge of MS office products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, PowerBI, etc.Knowledgeable in Project Management.
Prior experience in Consulting industry, Recruiting or Human Resources is advantageous.Capable of working in a remote/virtual environment.
