The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President (SVP) of Reporting, Tax, and Control to join our team. As the SVP of Reporting, Tax, and Control, you will report directly to our CFO and will oversee our Group Accounting, Reporting, Tax, Control, and Payroll teams. Your leadership will ensure robust financial governance and compliance across all our operations. This pivotal role demands expertise in IFRS and extensive experience with publicly listed companies in Europe. Proficiency in Swedish is preferred.
What You Will Do
Group Reporting and Consolidation: Oversee the preparation and consolidation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
Implement and maintain robust financial controls across the group.
External Reporting and Compliance: Lead the preparation and review of annual and interim financial reports.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements, including CSRD reporting.
Liaise with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audits.
Audit Committee Engagement: Prepare and present financial reports to the Audit Committee.
Address and resolve any queries or concerns raised by the Audit Committee.
Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance financial oversight and governance.
Tax Management: Oversee the development and implementation of tax strategies to optimize tax efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements.
Manage relationships with tax authorities and advisors.
Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the Group Accounting, Reporting, Tax, Control, and Payroll teams.
Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the department.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
