The Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for providing guidance to managers and employees on varying ER issues including conflict resolution, performance management, grievances, and policy interpretation. This role will include conducting investigations and implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement.RESPONSIBILITIES:Conflict Resolution: Mediate disputes between employees and management, facilitating discussions to resolve issues and improve working relationships.Performance Management: Assist managers with performance improvement plans, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Policy Interpretation: Provide guidance on the interpretation and application of company policies and employment laws.Investigations: Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, and other workplace issues.Compliance: Ensure the organization complies with all relevant employment laws and regulations.Employee Engagement: Partner with the HR/L&D Trainers to develop and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention including ER related training.Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases and outcomes.Reporting: Prepare reports and analyses of employee relations trends and issues to inform management decisions to be shared with the International HRD.Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations matters
