Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) is looking for a Senior Planner, Planning & Routing. In this role, you will drive innovation in Amazon's Middle Mile Transportation network. As part of the Program Development team, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning and delivering new solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders.
Key Job Responsibilities Own a dedicated process related to truck plan and resource generation, including the initiatives to improve the results from the scoping/creation until the implementation. Work closely with a team of Program Managers to drive the collection and implementation of requirements, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and contractual obligations. Define, prioritize, and plan the resources and technical requirements needed for programs to be delivered on time. Write and review business cases, perform supporting analysis, and write specifications from design to release. Regular communication with all stakeholders, including ongoing project/program status reports as well as capturing requirements. Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Access, SQL, or other data management systems. Monitor project execution and ensure that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with its target date, ensuring overall integrity within the program. A Day in the Life As a Senior Linehaul Planner, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and improving initiatives that ensure the smooth running of our operations. You will collaborate closely with various Amazon team members to understand their workflows and learn from their expertise.
