The RoleThe Channel Manager is responsible for the development and management of our channel sales partners serving enterprise and SME sectors for Autodata. Targeting significant growth in the Diagnostic and Repair sector, the successful applicant will utilise their professional business development and sales skillsets and leverage proven sales processes, both direct and in co-ordination with Channel and inside sales, to exceed assigned revenue quotas and targets as well as demonstrate a 'best in class' capability to forecast accurately.What You'll DoMeet and exceed set sales quotas and partner recruitment goals while adhering to the Company's sales rules of engagement.Aggressively drive partners to maximize sales through best practices and efficient use of Company's partner enablement resources, and ensure appropriate training and support.Identify and develop new accounts and/or expand existing accounts with channel customers and partners; sell, upsell and cross-sell the company's products and services.Recruit, develop and manage partner and channel alliances and opportunity pipelines and ensure the retention, growth and customer satisfaction of accounts.Work with marketing to drive programs and events through the channel.Work collaboratively to define and execute partners' sales plans and monitor programs to assess the sales impact of the solutions in the marketplace.Demonstrate industry knowledge and monitor competitor activity and implement strategies to keep abreast of competition, competitive issues and products.Attend and participate in sales meetings, product seminars and trade shows.Collaborate with peers in different business units and worldwide theaters.Train and provide support to partners. The role requires some travel.What You'll BringKnowledgeable about channel sales initiatives and partner engagement best practices.Knowledge of marketing and sales processes.Extensive experience managing channel partners, VARs, alliance partners &/or Sales agents.Proven track record of having attained and exceeded goals and quotas in previous sales positions.Self-motivated and innovative, possessing the ability to motivate and influence partners.Strong ability to build relationships at both executive and operational levels.Knowledgeable of transportation and logistics software.Superior verbal and written communications skills.Superior interpersonal and organizational skills.Persistently demonstrates a positive and enthusiastic attitude toward the company, the work, the vision, and the people.Ability to consistently drive and deliver outstanding results.Ability to effectively and consistently engage a cross functional team.Ability to organize and prioritize.Ability to give and receive direction.Ability to influence and create excitement with 3rd party entities.Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.Foreign languages preferred: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian.#J-18808-Ljbffr
