As part of the OLE (Overhead Line Equipment) team, the new member will take part in all the tasks related to the OLE design from basic design range development to draft, basic, and detailed design. As an OLE Design Engineer, you will be involved in R&D activities, tendering processes, and all the stages of an engineering project.
Some of your main functions will be: Collaborate in all engineering deliverables: Reports, calculations, drawings.Design foundations for OLE elements.OLE layout design.OLE structures assessments.R&H identification and mitigation measures.Calculate electrical and mechanical clearance envelopes.Develop tendering documents.Create isolation diagrams and isolation instructions. Qualifications
Ideally, we are looking to hire an experienced Engineer specialized in OLE Design and motivated to develop her/his career in an international company, collaborating in multicultural teams. It is needed:
Mechanical or similar science degree.Railway electrification working knowledge with AC and DC electrification systems.Previous experience or knowledge of other railway systems like signalling, traction power.High-speed rail lines and conventional lines knowledge.Good CAD skills.High level of English and Spanish compulsory; other languages will be a plus.
