The selected candidate will be part of the Laboratory of Cytoskeleton dynamics in cell migration and invasion, led by Dr. Maria Angeles Juanes Ortiz. This laboratory primarily focuses on how normal cells move and how specific mutations disrupt cytoskeleton functions, affecting cell migration and contributing to cancer disease. The position is funded by Proyectos de generación de conocimiento 2022 – PID2022-140899NB-I00 from the Science and Innovation Ministry and involves studies in 3D cancer cells as well as animal models. Due to the volume of work, we need to hire a researcher to perform the following duties: Contribute to the daily work of the laboratory, including organization of stocks and ordering reagents and preparation of buffers. Maintenance of culture cells and mice. Experimental work in in vivo and in vitro models. Analysis of genes and/or proteins by western blot, RT-PCR, IHC. Data processing and storage in servers. Write reports, data presentation and assistance in scientific manuscripts.
