Eurovision Services Madrid (ESM) is looking for a Marketing & Promotion Officer - 70 % - to join the Design team at our office in Madrid, Spain.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION The Marketing & Promotion officer will work with the EBU Academy. EBU Academy is the professional training centre for EBU Members. They help media professionals - from journalists in the field to top executives - understand the challenges their broadcasters face and they give them the tools to design concrete solutions and achieve their goals and objectives. EBU Academy works with top media experts and trainers, who make up the Faculty, to design courses, learning programmes and training packages based on the latest market trends and best practices.
The training portfolios explore new topics in digital culture and technologies, news, leadership and management, safety and security, brands and values. The Marketing & Promotion officer carries out the implementation of efforts related to the marketing operations in EBU Academy. He/she promotes and defends the EBU Academy Brand. He/she develops marketing plans and campaigns - including on social networks - on the learning programmes and courses and strives to raise awareness on Academy courses and services among targeted customers.
He/she develops and manages the promotion of EBU Academy for external clients. For internal clients, meaning the employees, he/she ensures that promotion reaches the employees and further questions can be answered. For external parties, he/she promotes the courses to sell them and find clients. He/she coordinates coherence among the messages transmitted in mails, printed materials, press articles, and corporate promotional materials. He/she strives to maintain truthful promotion.
The website is the major platform for doing these tasks. The role reports into the Manager of the EBU Academy.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE At least 3 years experience in selling services
Knowledge of different web CMS (ideally Jahia) and online publishing standards
Solid knowledge of website analytics and paid advertising tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads) as well as keyword research tools (Ahrefs)
Strong understanding of how social media fits into the digital marketing mix and how/when to utilize social platforms versus other channels
Strong motivation in promotion
Interest in client, selling and success in business
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing, social media and measurement
Team player and detail oriented
Experience in working across functions in a multi-cultural environment
Creative with strong analytical skills and data-driven approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

French language knowledge
