Job Description: An opportunity for an Aeronautical Engineer has arisen within Airnus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the MRTT Quality Operations Team. This permanent contract will be full time. The start date will be as son as possible.
The successful candidate will contribute to:
investigations and root cause analysis into reported quality / quality technical issues from the business team and customer;
ensure appropriate containment and archiving, corrective and curative action is taken by the accountable function through multifunctional teams.
You will perform Quality Inspections as per defined standards, Final Check and Attestation, Stop Points, Out of sequence work, including critical activities (when not delegated).
You will ensure Operational Surveillance (people, product and process).
You will also provide feedback and coaching to Operations & Support Functions on Quality issues and observations from Operational Surveillance.
Finally, you will actively participate in process improvements. Additionally you will support Q planner activities.
KEY DELIVERABLES: Quality Inspections and attestation of work orders when not delegated. Operational Surveillance (process, product, people), Optimization of Inspection activities, fast response to quality issues, Process Improvement, Investigations and root cause analysis, Foreign object damage prevention, Opening / Closure of Non conformities where appropriate and support to the shop floor providing expertise in Q issues. Carrying out Predictive Quality activites and Coaching to operations. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: to inspect, attest and conduct surveillance, to conduct PPS, to prevent FOD, to manage Non conformities as appropriate, to be the go-to person on the shop floor for Quality issues. To carry out Improvement, Prediction and Coaching as appropriate.
As support to Q planner he/she will participate in the Q team driver model building, cost control and OP definition.
The successful applicant will bring: · University degree in a technical domain, e.g., computer science, telecommunications engineering or equivalent. · Knowledge in Quality procedures and regulations. · At least 3 years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering · Around 3 years of Project and Team Management will be a plus. · Experience in direct contact with final customer will be valuable · High adaptability to work on new topics, new business and in a network mode · Familiar with agile software development processes and methods. · State of the art paradigms in Quality processes and improvement tools would be valuable. · Knowledge in planning systems is beneficial. · Experience in MRTT systems is a plus. · English negotiation level required. · Spanish negotiation level required. · Team player, good communication skills and proactive mindset. · Experience in managing people and conflicts. · Strong interpersonal and communication skills. · Able to propose new ideas.
