Job Description What Will You Be Doing: Drive the development, implementation, and enhancement of the enterprise-wide data governance and metadata management solution using Collibra's data catalog.
Integrate Collibra with AWS-based data warehouses, ensuring seamless flow and management of metadata and data assets across platforms.
Design and optimize metadata models, asset models, and the architecture of the data catalog to ensure consistency, accuracy, and accessibility across the enterprise.
Serve as the application expert for Collibra, supporting the implementation of integration architecture and ensuring compliance with technical requirements.
Collaborate with data governance, IT, and business teams to maintain and evolve the data catalog's functionalities to meet changing business needs and regulatory requirements.
Monitor and enhance the performance of the data catalog by implementing best practices, troubleshooting issues, and recommending continuous improvements.
Develop and implement workflows and processes within Collibra to manage metadata lifecycle and ensure data quality.
Ensure the security, scalability, and sustainability of the data catalog in alignment with enterprise data governance frameworks.
Document data lineage and establish governance standards within the catalog, supporting audit and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications 5+ years of experience working with Collibra's data catalog platform, including implementation and administration.
Extensive knowledge of AWS data warehousing solutions (Redshift, S3, Glue, etc.
), with experience integrating them with metadata management tools.
Demonstrated experience in designing metadata models and optimizing data governance solutions in large, complex environments.
Strong understanding of data governance, data management, and metadata standards within enterprise environments.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate with stakeholders in IT, governance, and business roles to support data governance initiatives.
Proven experience working in regulated industries (pharmaceutical, healthcare, etc.
), ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing issues and ensuring optimal performance of the Collibra platform.
Ability to create comprehensive documentation and provide training to ensure successful adoption of the data catalog across the organization.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
Nice to Have: Experience with API integration and automation within the Collibra platform.
Familiarity with other data governance tools and related technologies.
Relevant certifications in Collibra, AWS, or Data Governance.
