The Technical Product Marketing Manager's role is to position our products in the market and bring impactful stories that will increase the reach of our technology, attracting attention from device developers building new products.

Key targets include early funnel growth.
The Technical Product Marketing Manager understands the design journey of developing an IoT device and the importance of getting the antenna right to ensure a successful product.
This role focuses on the technical challenges while also understanding business challenges and connecting these pain points with Ignion's value proposition.
A storyteller who translates technical benefits into successful marketing materials tailored to our focus market segments, leading to increased sales.
Someone in this role works with both business, sales, and technology teams to ensure alignment and success for customers and provides vital help to the whole marketing team, especially in defining the content, the messaging, and the relations with the right technical media partners, evangelists, PM of partners, and other technical stakeholders.
The role advocates for customer needs, follows technology trends in the market, and provides guidance to the marketing team as well as internal leadership to cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for creating and executing Ignion's Go to Market process & technical marketing strategy for focus market verticals and marketing personas.Responsible for Ignion technical documentation, and webinar and offer technical support to the content strategist with the creation of all kinds of digital content (videos, presentations, blogs, whitepapers, landing pages, product campaigns).Conduct thorough competitor research and perform market analysis to effectively position Ignion's product offerings.Identify customer verified value proposition & customer pain points.Define messaging architecture with segment specific value propositions.Develop engaging and educational product marketing campaigns that reach a wide IoT target audience.Represent voice of the customer within the company for both technical and marketing related activities.Analyze early sales funnel and plan activities for further growth.Collaborate with the sales teams to educate them on the products' features and refine our story to the market.Collaborates cross-functionally (R&D, sales, marketing, and engineering) to bring new products to market.Work with engineering to identify improvements, identify opportunities; and lead status meetings to drive new product marketing initiatives to market.Periodically presents project updates to the leadership team.Responsible for the productization and go-to-market process of new hardware products.Drives continuous improvement of product marketing processes and costs to maintain profitability and competitiveness.Weekly reporting of product marketing activities, milestones and budget. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUNDBachelor's in electrical engineering, computer science or telecommunications required.Master's in marketing or business administration desirable. SKILLS3 years background in product marketing or product management-related role.IoT & semiconductor industry experience, familiarity with antenna technology and RF (Radio Frequency) expertise.Technical understanding of wireless technologies, IoT devices and antennas.Strong storytelling skills.
Strong presentation, written and verbal skills.Able to communicate ideas and recommendations to internal and external executive teams in a succinct manner.Capable of translating complex technical features into easy-to-understand stories.Self-driven, analytical mindset able to drive prioritization efforts.Proficient in English, both oral and written.Ability to interface with deep technical teams as well as marketing teams.Highly motivated and enthusiastic for new challenges.Experience working with global teams is a plus.
