Your objective as FMEA Moderator will be:Ensures that developed products (including platforms products) meet the Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA) Methods and Tools requirementsFacilitates the failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA) on new and existing productCoordinates deployment and development of FMEA know-how within the Product GroupCoordinates continuous improvement of FMEA process in regard to Quality / Cost / DelayReporting directly to the Valeo Lighting Systems Product architecture & System Engineering Discipline Manager and within an international team of about people, your missions will be as follows :For each project, you support the definition of the FMEA budget and lead the associate working group to ensure the success of the FMEA by ensuring that the following points are met: working group formation, technical consistency, achievement of FMEA objectives, reduction of risk to an acceptable level.Manages the execution of the 7 steps of the FMEA method.Planning and preparation of the FMEAStructure analysis based on the technical description of the analysed System or Product (BOM, Architecture)Functional AnalysisFailure AnalysisTechnical Risk Evaluation based on the AIAG/VDA Handbook and Valeo StandardsOptimization of the Development plans based on the Risk evaluationManagement and Customer ReportsSchedule FMEA meetings in collaboration with FMEA owners and ensure the proper FMEA methodology is used. Support for the Product Architect and the FMEA team to review and release the FMEA.Act as an interface person to transfer expertise and knowledge between the different development sitesTrain the Engineering teams in the methods and the specific Tools used for creation of the FMEAParticipation in the Preparation of the decision guidelines/criteriaCollaborate with the Group, responsible for supporting method improvements and implement them into the assigned projectsCreation of reusable FMEA modules aligned with the function and Element standardisationCooperation in System- and Design-FMEA and offer inputs to Process-FMEA.What about you You have an engineering degree with a specialization in electrical engineering OR computer science OR mechatronics OR automotive engineering OR physics OR equivalent, you have a minimum of 5 years experience in automotive systems ideally for embedded solutions. You have proven skills in FMEA and are familiar with the development and documentation of failure mode analysis and system architectures.Your taste for technical systems and your interpersonal skills will allow you to federate and impulse a real dynamic around your subject. You are a team player and know how to work with method and rigor.
