.Systems Analyst, Laboratory ApplicationsJob Purpose/SummaryThe Systems Analyst, Laboratory Applications is responsible for technical work related to laboratory systems and supporting activities including project management, training, and support.
This includes configuring systems, maintaining documentation, and training of IT staff and end users.What You'll DoManage the routine activities and configuration related to all laboratory applicationsInstall, configure, maintain, and support assigned laboratory systemsEffectively manage projects to completion on time and on budgetProvide high-level customer service, promptly responding to end user requests for support, including troubleshooting, problem solving, report development, training, or system enhancements and correction testingAnalyze issues and problems reported by users and identify solutionsTrain end users on new technologies and enhancements to laboratory systemsPerform disaster recovery testing and documentationMaintain necessary documentation as required by CTI SOPs, including those required for 21 CFR Part 11 validation compliance and lab certificationsProactively identify areas where technology can improve laboratory processes and end user productivityProvide onsite support to local CTI employees for computer system hardware, software, and telecommunicationsProcure and install all new electronic devices such as PCs; set up as requiredAssist with implementing and supporting third party applicationsAssist with testing and validationManage inventory of IT equipment and supplies; replenish as needed, while aggressively watching the budgetWhat You BringWorking knowledge of LIMS development, forms development, workflow management, and instrument integrationAble to work closely with system users with all levels of experienceAbility to work within project budgets and complete deliverables in a timely mannerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsEffective interpersonal skills, including ability to promote teamwork and ensure high degree of internal and external customer satisfactionAbility to develop, prioritize, organize, and manage multiple tasksAbility to provide superior level of customer serviceDemonstrated ability to operate in a team environmentExcellent problem-solving skills5 years of experience managing Information Technology systemsWorking experience with SQL and reporting systemsBachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information TechnologyThorough and current understanding of LabWare LIMS ManagementExperience in a help desk environmentFluent in EnglishWhy CTI?At CTI, we recognize that our people are what make our company successful.
