System & Network Engineer

Position based in La Selva del Camp, Tarragona
Main mission
Candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing and improving:
Communications networks: WAN, LAN, Telephony, Internet.
Massively virtual server farms on Windows and Linux systems.
By anticipating the expectations of their customers, both within the IT Department and sometimes in the Business Units, they ensure that hardware and software are efficient, perfectly adapted to their needs and constantly evolving.
It will contribute to:
Maintaining hardware (servers, switches, storage) and system and network software in operational condition.
Diagnose hardware and software errors and malfunctions.
Repair faults and malfunctions.
Provide evolutionary and corrective maintenance based on major technological developments (including version changes).
Measure and optimize system performance.
To the evolution of the current infrastructure linked to a hybrid Cloud strategy driven by Applications hosted on Azure, by Office 365 and the project to deploy our ERP in Azure,
The deployment of our strategy to gradually evolve our Enterprise network from MPLS to SD-WAN.
The need to better isolate the Management Network from Industrial Networks, to prevent a Cyber attack on one from contaminating the other.
To the resilience of our systems, and recovery in the event of a physical or malicious incident.
More generally, the obligation to reinforce IT security in the face of Cyber risks.
Main activities
Propose IT solutions to meet the needs expressed by the CISO, Projects, or in line with technological developments.
Draft RFPs and analyze manufacturers' proposals in terms of performance, reliability and compatibility.
Build and supervise the consultants who work with the IT Department to develop technical solutions.
Provide technological supervision to ensure optimization of the company's system resources.
With the support of a "Services Exploitation" partner, ensure supervision and control of networks and systems.
Controlling IT subcontractors.
Other activities
Supervise resource utilization.
Configure and size selected hardware solutions.
Test the systems in place and ensure that all components are compatible with each other.
Write and update documentation on operating procedures and instructions.
Ensure the security and reliability of company systems.
Profile
The minimum qualification is a CFGS Network Computer Systems Administration (Grado Superior en Administración de Sistemas Informáticos en Red), with a minimum of 5 years' experience in multinational companies.
Your level of English must be B2 as it will allow you to maintain conversations with the different delegations that we have at international level.
Native Spanish or advanced level.
French is a plus.
You must have people skills, be proactive and in constant training.
Have a good sense of customer relations and demonstrate a great capacity for organization and autonomy.
