From the latest adaptive lighting technologies to intuitive interior lighting solutions or stylish and design-centric external lighting, Valeo constantly innovates to improve comfort and safety for drivers and passengers alike.As a System Design Leader in Valeo Martos, you will be designing cutting-edge electronics for top car makers in the world, working in a fast-paced, international, and multicultural environment.Your mission:- Accountable for the deliverables of the system design discipline to ensure the success of the project in collaboration with the System Architect.- Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting of his Engineering discipline System design activities, with support from the Engineering discipline Department Manager/System Team Leader.Your responsibilities:Accountable for:- Complying with Engineering discipline processes and Design Rules:- Plan, monitor, and control activities according to Engineering discipline PD of his/her PG/PL following CPM (CLEAN Project Management).- In charge of the robust design/validation in line with the economic targets.- Review Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, Specifications.- Perform or support design calculations/simulations/coding/associated acceptance tests.- Apply Standardization rules; exceptionally will request destandardizations based on justifications.- Responsible for Engineering discipline design reviews preparation.- Interface with the customer for the Engineering discipline content.- Report and escalate to the Product Technical Manager/Leader/Eng and his Hierarchical.Responsible for the detailed scheduling and budgeting:- Contribute to the identification of the needs in terms of resources, equipment, investments.- Establish a detailed breakdown of the activities to meet the milestones.- Follow activities and spending of his scope to meet his allowed budget and timing.Management of the contributors:- Assign to them the needed work packages.- Regular review with his/her Hierarchical to check alignment between needs and availabilities.Desired skills and experience:- Electronics Engineering Degree/Master, Telecommunications, or equivalent experience
