As a Product Line Architect, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between technical solutions and business/customer needs.
Your primary responsibility will be to maximize the value of our products by guiding and supporting the development team in delivering high-quality solutions that meet market demands and customer expectations.
As a Software Architecture Role within Thales, you will:
Manage and coordinate software architecture studies across lifecycle phases from Bid to Delivery in collaboration with bid/project/product teams.
Approve the technical, technological, and methodological choices taken in respect of the selected software architecture.
Guarantee adherence to standards, reuse, and product policies.
Prepare and document architecture choices, present and document their justification and trade-offs.
Support and coach development teams throughout the development cycle.
Lead and mentor technical delivery teams.
Customize software solutions to meet client requirements. Attend to project/customer workshops when required.
Ensure custom solutions are productized in future product releases.
Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Develop and manage product offers during bids aligned with market trends and product and business objectives.
Participate in knowledge sharing, such as providing knowledge on software architecting or software practices, helping Delivery teams with designing custom modules, or launching webinars on product knowledge and customization.
To succeed in this job, you must have:
Technical knowledge / functional skills:
You graduated with a Master of Engineering or Computer Science in university, and you have significant experience with Software Architecture within Agile environment.
You have strong mindset of product management and understanding of customer needs.
Proficiency in system and application architecture.
Strong experience in customization and configuration management.
Knowledge of integration tools and APIs.
Familiarity with relevant programming languages and technology stacks.
You like following the latest trends in innovation.
You are familiar with engineering process and solution definition.
You are proficient in the management of performance, robustness, and cybersecurity.
You are familiar with design patterns and able to define reusable referenced architecture in line with product policy.
Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
Availability to travel abroad from time to time to attend to customer's or project workshops.
