To help us build functional systems that improve customer experience, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Network Administrator to join our highly professional expert team.The Network Administrator will ensure efficient data communications across the network and will be responsible for deploying, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring all active network equipment to ensure smooth network operations.Responsibilities: Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly.Monitor IT infrastructure health using preexisting management tools and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed.Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, corporate VPN, and security updates; support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments.Provide Level 2 technical support to assist in troubleshooting and identifying the root cause of issues.Investigate and resolve technical issues.Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems.Perform regular backups of the systems.Implement and manage security integrity and backup procedures in collaboration with other stakeholders.Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.Collaborate with cross-functional teammates to understand customer requirements, come up with solutions, and ship iterations on a daily basis.Shape and improve engineering culture, standards, tooling, and processes.Help build a successful business that does well by doing good.Requirements: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent alternative education.Proven work experience in IT, technical support, systems administration or similar roles (3+ years).Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems; current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, system performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and caching.Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.Knowledge in TCP/IP, computer networks (LAN, WAN, switches, routing), and telecommunications transmission protocols and signaling. Experience is desired.General knowledge and skills in programming languages, operating systems (particularly Linux/Unix), and cloud computing and virtualization
