SYSOPS Engineer Your day-to-day: Infrastructure Deployment and Management: Administrators are in charge of setting up, managing, and deploying the different services and resources that make up the infrastructure of the company. This includes setting up virtual servers, storage systems, databases, and networking components (On Premises and Cloud). System Troubleshooting: Monitor different environments to spot any problems or performance issues. This involves examining system logs, metrics, and alarms to identify issues and taking rapid action to resolve them. Security and Compliance (ISO 27001): Responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard the infrastructure and data, including setting up and maintaining access controls and ensuring compliance with regulations. Backup and Disaster Recovery: Establish and implement backup and recovery methods to protect crucial data and ensure business continuity, including creating disaster recovery plans and performing regular recovery tests. Performance Optimization: Improve service performance by tweaking configurations, scaling resources, and applying best practices, while also analyzing system performance metrics and implementing improvements. Automation and Scripting: Utilize scripting languages and automation technologies to automate repetitive tasks, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce human error, including writing and maintaining scripts for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management. Collaboration and Documentation: Work with other teams and stakeholders to understand system needs, address issues, and provide technical support, while documenting system setups, processes, and troubleshooting methods for knowledge transfer. Education:
Higher Education Training in IT and Systems or Computer Systems Degree
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in application development with strong analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge and Experience in the Following Technological Environments: Windows and Linux administration; scripting knowledge required.
