SYSOPS Engineer Your day-to-day: Infrastructure Deployment and Management Administrators are in charge of setting up, managing, and deploying the different services and resources that make up the infrastructure of the company. This includes setting up virtual servers, storage systems, databases, and networking components (On Prem and Cloud).
System Troubleshooting Keep an eye on the different environments to spot any problems or performance snags. This involves examining system logs, metrics, and alarms to identify issues and taking rapid action to fix them.
Security and Compliance (ISO 27001) You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard the infrastructure and data. This includes setting up and maintaining access controls, restricting user permissions, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
Backup and Disaster Recovery To protect crucial data and ensure business continuity, you will establish and implement backup and recovery methods. This includes creating disaster recovery plans, conducting regular recovery tests, and setting up data backups.
Performance Optimization By tweaking configurations, scaling resources, and applying best practices, you will enhance service performance, analyze system performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement enhancements to boost effectiveness and efficiency.
Automation and Scripting You should be proficient in scripting languages and automation technologies to automate repetitive tasks, increase operational effectiveness, and reduce human error. This includes writing and maintaining scripts for operations like infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
You will also work with CI pipelines.
Collaboration and Documentation To understand system needs, address issues, and provide technical support, you will collaborate with other teams and stakeholders. You will document system setups, processes, and troubleshooting methods to promote knowledge transfer and ensure consistency.
Education
Higher Education Training in IT and Systems or a Computer Systems Degree.
Experience Minimum of 5 years in application development with strong analytical and communication skills.
Knowledge and Experience in the Following Technological Environments Windows and Linux administration.
