The Switchboard Operator at Open iT plays a crucial role in managing communication systems and ensuring excellent customer service. In addition to traditional switchboard duties, this role involves managing property listings for company properties.
Key duties and responsibilities: Switchboard Operations:Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally, utilizing proper telephone etiquette.Greet callers and provide necessary information or assistance.Transfer calls to appropriate team members or departments efficiently.Take accurate messages and ensure they are delivered promptly to the intended recipient.Handle queries via phone, email, and other communication channels effectively.Route emergency calls following established procedures.Property Listing Management:Manage property listings for company properties, ensuring accurate and appealing descriptions.Monitor and respond to inquiries, booking requests, and guest messages promptly.Coordinate check-in/check-out procedures and ensure a smooth guest experience.Manage reservations, including calendar updates and availability adjustments.Coordinate cleaning and maintenance schedules to maintain property standards.Address guest concerns and resolve issues to ensure high guest satisfaction.Required Qualifications: Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with callers and guests.Strong problem-solving capabilities.Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with phone systems and call-handling procedures.Experience using communication platforms such as MS Teams, Skype, etc.Previous experience in property management.If this opportunity is a potentially good match for you, then we look forward to reviewing your application.
