As a Sales Development Representative for Sales Development, you will be responsible for identifying robust sales opportunities, profiling future customers, and paying attention to their needs, thereby helping to drive new business through various outbound campaigns.
You will help companies work better together, move quickly, and innovate.
As a member of the Sales development team, you will be the first point of contact for hundreds of companies, proactively engaging them to build enthusiasm while identifying, as well as qualifying their business needs and suggesting adequate solutions that lead them onto the most suitable path for them.
You will work towards individual goals, but will also be part of a larger sales team with a focus on growing our customer base across EMEA.
You will be in a phone-based environment, where you transact with customers primarily via outbound calls.
Responsibility Achieve SQO (Sales Qualified Opportunity) quota quarterly, and reach activity targets on a daily and weekly basis.
Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts to identify high potential prospects while educating clients on what we have to offer.
Perform daily outbound phone calls and emails (often cold calling), contact C-level decision makers, build quick report and assess needs.
Understand future customers' weak points, gather technical requirements, correlate business needs with available Cloud solutions (solution sales), and build value for the next step in the sales process.
Update and maintain lead and customer data in Salesforce.com (CRM database).
Manage leads, contacts, accounts, opportunities, and activities in Salesforce.com .
Work towards team-based and individual goals for KPIs such as productivity, conversion rates, opportunities, and pipeline.
Carefully document customer notes and business details from customer interactions (using Salesforce.com ) to ensure that there is always clear information regarding current and past interactions available to all stakeholders at all times.
Demand BA/BS degree OR equivalent practical experience.
Completely fluent in Swedish in speech and writing.
Ability to speak and write fluently and idiomatically in English.
Any previous experience in outbound sales, B2B sales or business development, preferably in the IT industry.
Some understanding of cloud computing concepts, in particular Google Cloud Platform solutions.
Ability to connect business needs with adequate solutions, strong business acumen.
Strong interpersonal skills and a high level of integrity and professionalism.
Convenient to work against an allocated quota in a phone-based environment.
General IT skills: essential computer skills to effectively navigate a computer-based job.
Desirable 1 year of experience in IT outbound sales prospecting, with strong business acumen and ability to convince others and read situations well.
Experience in cold calling and managing a large portfolio of accounts and contacts.
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
Ability to identify key decision-makers and relevant stakeholders in a business conversation.
Goal-oriented and self-motivated individual who is proactive, confident, competitive and persistent.
Understanding of the local market and local business environment.
