TELUS International is looking for a Language Data Analyst in Barcelona, Spain to work onsite for a machine learning project!
At the moment, we are looking for candidates with fluency in Swedish for a long-term maternity leave.
As a Language Data Analyst, you oversee the curation and management of data.
You ensure that the AI systems have access to high-quality, diverse, and relevant data to enable accurate and ethical decision-making.
Main Responsibilities: Identify, gather and process relevant data from various sources, ensuring its quality, accuracy, and integrity.Implement data cleaning, transformation, and enrichment processes to optimize data usability for AI models.Adapt language to fit a particular culture or market (localization).Translate content from English to your mother tongue. Competencies: Giving support, focusing on customers, embracing technology, managing self-development.No people management accountabilities.Ability to perform curation, cleaning, and transformation processes.Excellent data analysis skills.Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with bias mitigation techniques and ethical considerations in AI.Basic knowledge in programming languages and relevant libraries. Qualifications: Experience in data annotation or data labeling is a plus.Educational background in Linguistics, Literature, Translation or equivalent is a plus.Proficient in English, oral and written.Proficient in Swedish, oral and written.
